Manhattan Beach

ea. Manhattan Beach is 4.76 miles south from the LAX (Los Angeles Airport) Just come south on Sepulveda Blvd and turn right on Manhattan beach blvd, when you get to Highland Ave you will find yourself at the entrance of the Manhattan beach pier.The close freeways are the 105 and the 405
The whole area is the playground for beautiful people. There are a lot of L.A. “10’s” getting the sun tan, surfing, biking or playing volleyball on the beach. ( “L.A. 10” is a term that a famous L.A’s talk radio host use to rate how a girl or woman looks. The rating is from 1 through 10 and been 10 the most pretty or gorgeous looks, a complete beauty all around.) This is another place where you have to bring your sunglasses to avoid eyes strain.

The beach is a wide sandy area where all sun lovers can work on their golden tan. You can do this while having some fun as well.
Beach Volleyball is played here and sometimes professional tournaments are scheduled during summer.
Surfing is the most popular activity in the South Bay beaches and Manhattan beach is no exeption.

Bicycle riding is one of the favorite activities here. The South Bay Bicycle Trail runs along the back of the sand next to luxurious beach front homes. The trail begins on the north side of the beach, at Will Rogers State beach and extend for 22 miles to Torrance Beach in the south. People use the trail for jogging, online skating, and anything that run in human power.
You can do a joy walking in a place called "the Strand". This is a
pedestrian walkway were you can roam and enjoy the "sights".The northern section is called El Porto Beach. If you move south, you will get to Hermosa Beach, another popular beach in this area.
The Manhattan Beach Municipal Pier is located at the end of Manhattan Beach Boulevard. This pier does not have the entertainment centers and restaurants like Santa Monica pier or Redondo Beach pier but has a marine life aquarium at the end of the pier and you can do some fishing as well.

Walking around Highland Ave and Manhattan Beach blvd and you will find some nice small shops, bars and restaurants that you might find enjoyable, and making the whole experience another GreatSunnyBeaches to visit in Southern California.
